the staff were friendly and the room seemed modern
the room felt stifling despite open windows i could not understand why it was so hot and two fans did little to help plus lukewarm water came from the cold tap a big disappointment

relaxing getaway
great room full breakfast comfy sofas
the rooms were great, and nothing was too much trouble. after a full breakfast i walked down to the sea and then drove on to lymington. back at the hotel i had tea and scones and relaxed on the comfy sofas.
the dog exercise area was a nice addition, though my room was stifling with windows open as wide as they would go.

the food in the cedar tree restaurant was delicious. breakfast had a good selection. the evening buffets had plenty of variety too, nice for a satisfying culinary experience.

most of the staff have been here for years and it was lovely to see them again. they are always so courteous and helpful. nothing is too much trouble for them.

the king room was really spacious, clean and warm. the room also had a fridge, offering an added bonus. the bathroom was a good size with a walk-in shower.

i experienced a warm welcome at this hotel. the provided king room was spacious with a comfortable bed. i found the bathroom and walk-in shower particularly enjoyable.
i noticed a slight issue with the water temperature in my room (the cold tap dispensed lukewarm water). bottled water from the fridge was a good solution to resolve this. the staff quickly provided an additional fan, but the room remained rather warm.

the shower was large , and there was a scroll top bath. the restaurant provided excellent meals with friendly staff. our breakfasts had good choice.
the hotel was like it had a slight smell of dogs throughout.
